Carn is an independent project and is not affiliated with Microsoft or Google.

Getting started

• Create a free key in Google AI Studio.
• Open the Carn panel, go to Settings, paste the key and choose a model.
• Open a lesson at learn.microsoft.com/training/modules. Questions appear after a short wait.

Common problems

Invalid key. Google rejected the key. Paste it again without spaces, and check the Gemini API is enabled for it.

A limit was hit. Wait the time shown, or choose another model. Limits are shared by everything using the same Google project, and Google does not tell apps what is left, so check AI Studio.

No questions appear. Check the switch in the panel is on, that you are on a lesson page rather than a module overview, and that Settings shows a saved key. Introductions are deliberately skipped.

A question looks wrong. The questions are written by an AI model and can be mistaken. Treat Microsoft Learn as the source of truth.

A model gives odd output. Try another model in Settings.

Still not working

• Wait a minute, then reload the lesson. Carn pauses briefly after a failed attempt.

Report a problem

Write to support@carn.rocks. Include your browser and version, the Carn version, the lesson address, the model you chose, and the exact message shown. Never include your API key.
